July 13, 201511 yr Author I heard Andy Dalton hit a bomb in the game. I think he was a pretty good high school baseball player. Since it is being reported on CBS Sports now ....Andy Dalton was booed significantly when introduced. He did hit two absolute bombs. One to left field was the longest of the game and actually landed on the warning track.......and no he did not under-throw the cutoff man when playing the outfield.
July 13, 201511 yr Author I heard almost everyone was hitting homers. Well the Legend major league stars hit their share. Actually impressed with most the celebrities that played in the game. Some nice strokes and some good defensive plays.
July 13, 201511 yr I'm not a Dalton apologist but it sucks that he was booed in Cincinnati. I hope they boo him like crazy during football season!
July 13, 201511 yr Author And might I add that Jennie Finch is still just drop dead gorgeous and such an athlete.
July 13, 201511 yr I think this is one of those things that is much better live than on tape. I questioned going, but the daughter and I had a good time. It was very entertaining. Dalton did get heavily boo'd at intros, but they changed to cheers as the game went on. Urban Meyer had his fair share of boos too. Without giving too much info since it hasn't aired, the little bit of rain that moved in made it more entertaining.
July 13, 201511 yr Does ESPN have some type of gag order on the game? Did they address this with the fans in attendance?
