Thats not true, many school administration things, teaching interviews and such go on during this time. The coach can be on campus.

 

I'm not talking about the campus. Just the football facilities. If this guy isn't a volunteer coach it's probably ok. But if he's associated with the program and kids are present its a problem.

My question is why your calling them out?

Wasn't calling out, I mean it was on the news and I know Haywood wouldn't put Belfry in a position to jeopardized.

Rule 6 makes sense in this ... But I guess its how you read it. If the high school coach is from PCC he can host a camp at Belfry and Belfry players work at it as long as Belfry Coaches aren't there? Or could a Belfry coach host a camp and have Belfry players work it as long as the rest of the Belfry staff isn't there?

That is inaccurate, the students are allowed on campus for academic purposes only. Coaches are not restricted, I would bet that most coaches get their vacations in and then they are back in the office. In some instances fields need to be taken care of and preparation for the beginning of practice.

I wouldn't think Coach Haywood would ever sign off on anything that could potentially be a violation without doing his due diligence... with that said if it was some type of secondary violation... even as good natured and having no real strategic advantage as hosting a youth camp at a minimal cost.. I am sure Haywood would take whatever the KHSAA would have to say very seriously.

 

It would kind of me ironic and comical to an extent if the KHSAA imposed some penalty for this well meaning youth camp after the whole McCracken County debacle last season basically went unnoticed. Sadly I don't think it would be much of a shock to some.

Not true. Coaches and other staff allowed on campus, players are not. As long as no current players are involved this is legal..
