Whew.... good thing.... no way a Boone Co school could play on Sunday, much less Ryle host an event. :)

Who all is going to be at the Saturday evening games? I'll be heading over for Cooper v. Highlands and watching the night cap.

I'll be at the last two games, including the finale where CCH will unveil their 27 member varsity team.

I will be there for the last 2 mathces on Saturday, I plan on taking in the last 2 matches on Friday as well.

Going to NewCath game on Friday and Highlands game on Saturday.

If anyone wants to grab a soda before the game, I'm going to go to FlipDaddy's around 5:30.

I hope to be at the late games on Friday and Saturday. All for the show and the gate, Soccerrama games gives little to no indication of what we'll see come October. Take CCH for example, if groinpull is correct and they have a roster of 27 (seriously?) think he said 25 players are healthy, assume all 25 will play on Saturday. Come October in the regional tournament CCH might play 15-16 of these 27 players. Same is true for most teams come regional tournament time.

3 injuries at this point I believe but you are correct that the whole roster will probably play and not much can be garnered from this game. And yes, 27 players.

WOW 27 and I believe I read on here somewhere that all 27 are juniors and seniors, and something like 18 seniors correct? Is this some kind of record? They may need to have two Senior night games, unheard of but probably not a bad idea. Or do you start one group of 11 seniors in the first have then start all other seniors in the second half?

Does khsaa have a maximum roster size limit?

I agree you can't tell much about how teams will shape up based on SoccerRama, but I like the early look at individual players. Even for half a game in a mixed squad you can see touch, vision, instinct, size, speed, etc. "Players" simply stand out. For me the interesting part is seeing the boys change from last fall, to this spring and now heading into the fall. Big gains for some, plateaus or even drop offs for others, and always a couple that weren't on the radar but are now ready to step up. You gotta love high school soccer.

I really don't know if they have a max roster size or if the roster will stay that large or not. I know that the soccer team has about 6-7 governor's scholars and they missed the entire tryout process, so this may just be an extended tryout period for everyone. And yes, all juniors/seniors.

Ryle vs St. Henry and NCC vs Scott seem like the two most exciting. I am very excited to see these four teams in action.
