June 24, 201511 yr Well...Clay Travis has an interesting take on this subject. It can't be posted here but I'll be surprised if he keeps his job after his article. I just read that a few minutes ago. I think I actually agree with a lot of what he said. June 24, 201511 yr First , did Clay Davis even think before he put this online? "How will this effect my job?" How does this get onto FoxSports? And how do they allow that laungage?
June 25, 201511 yr Shockingly democratic Louisville Metro Councilman Tom Owens feels the statue of Davis in the Capitol and the Confederate Memorial at UofL both should not be removed. It was on the WDRB last night but a google search should find it. I favor moving both to historical sites rather than leaving where they are or blowing them up (or getting rid of in some other fashion). Like them or not, both have historical relevance to the state's history and shouldn't be forgotten about.
