I have the same yearbook. One of the days, maybe someone can tell me how to upload pictures. Love the picture of Bear Bryant. Pretty sure that is the same yearbook. And how can you not love a QB wearing #20 ??? Same can be said for a big fella wearing #22 at QB up in NY a few years back.

You can upload using the symbol next to the video symbal in the menu bar above the reply area. You can then select from computer from upload or from a URL if reposting a picture from the web.

 

As for the numbers. The QBs were not all that special of a position until the forward pass became more common. In fact for teams that did not pass much the QB was expected to block for the faster running back after handing off. The RB postion was 'main man' in the backfield.
