Cavs/Warriors Game 2 Updates

Featured Replies

This game is terrible.

The Cavs have no business being in this and certainly not winning it.

If I wanted to watch defensive technique, I'd watch high school ball.

We're actually talking about how good Tristan Thompson is... TRISTAN THOMPSON. He has zero points.

It's been pretty bad tonight.

Cleveland has done a better job defensively on Curry.

Nice to see Lebron throwing elbows and getting foul calls on the other guy.

Hack-a-whoever is a really pathetic strategy. Should be two and the ball.

JR Smith is an idiot.

Nice to see Lebron throwing elbows and getting foul calls on the other guy.

All game every game.

The Cavs are soooooo good on defense...

...except when they're not.

Every bit of what I've watched has been atrocious. Kind of wipes away the memory of how great the first game was, eh?

And watching the Cavaliers implode down the stretch has been excruciating. This is the difference between a sweep and 5 games IMO. The Warriors ought to just let Cleveland have it so they can clinch at home.

Smith and Blatt screwed this one up so far. Smith gave up two free ones fouling 90 feet away from the basket and then gave GS momentum by fouling Barnes on the dunk.

If GS was gonna foul Thompson why not sub in Mozgov? Mozgov has played better anyway. Come on Blatt. Thompson made 3 of 4 but Cleveland didn't get to run any time off the clock.

If a foul is ever called again on a last second shot, it will be a total mockery of that drive to the basket by LeBron

Seriously, the final three minutes were strategic brilliance and finally finding shooting touch by the Warriors, helped by the complicity of awful play by the Cavs.

1) You may not like hack-a-Shaq, but it was a brilliant move by Golden State. Coming out of a timeout down 11 they nail a three, hack Thompson (who makes 1 of 2), nail a three. Instant 6-1 run, lead down to 6.

2) After Thompson again splits his free throws, J.R. Smith mindbogglingly fouls Curry 85 feet away from the basket, and he makes two. 5 point lead. After another sequence, Golden State was down just 3 only one minute after being down 11. Later, J.R. Smith makes another bonehead move, fouling Barnes on a dunk in which he was clearly badly beaten, handing them another point.

^ JR has really been something here at the end.

All that plus zero offensive creativity by the Cavaliers. Does LeBron not like to have a pick set for him?

Fireable offense by the ref. I say send the refs home and let them just go at it. They aren't going to blow the whistle anyway.
