Repeat of last year's finals, can Notre Dame get redemption for last year or do the Birds make it 2 in a row?

Gametime 5:30 @ Northern Kentucky University.

I'll be updating for those unable to attend.

Fear the Bird. :angrybird12:

Going to be a tough battle tonight. Both teams bring lots of upside and few weaknesses. Solid pitching in either circle with Smith and Spencer, arguably in the top 2 or 3 in the region. The HHS infield is solid and experienced and while the outfield is still young, they are maturing nicely and feed off the play of the dirt. Defense could be the decider in this one as both teams have displayed they can hit the ball regardless of who is pitching.

The team with the fewest errors.........continues on to Owensboro.

The better Defense will win this game.

My magic 8ball keeps saying "CANNOT PREDICT NOW"...

Last year I thought ND would win and Highlands did. This year I think Highlands will, so congrats NDA.

You've got a 50/50 chance of being right

That's that good NewCath math showing.

They learned me goodly

Norte Dame gets a Smith base hit and that's it. Highlands Whitney Quillen with an UNBELIEVABLE diving stop and throw out.

Quillen leads off with a single, walk, and intentional walk......nothing.

0-0 after 1.

A. Huston reaches on E, Sullivan walks, but nothing.

Daley reaches on E, K, K, Quillen single to left, K.

After 2, 0-0

Stephenson single to center, bunt popped up, Smith flare into left, FC5, PO4.

Graybill single to center (aftet 1st baseman dropped foul ball), K, WOW WOW WOW Graybill steals 2nd and ball goes into center, Graybill takes off for 3rd and centerfielder throws past 3rd baseman and goes into dugout and Graybill scores.

Stephenson hurt on play. Delayed for 15 minutes so far.
