May 26, 201511 yr I've watched it a couple of times, but have yet to get too caught up in the competitive angle or hype of the game. I somewhat have enjoyed watching simply as a test of my own knowledge, or lack there of. I hope that I'm wrong, but there's a nagging thought in the back of my mind that keeps telling me that there's pervading element of fakery in the game where contestants could possibly be fed correct answers. My hunch is that it will only last in a prime time slot for a very short period of time before it ends up on the network at a 3:00 p.m. time slot, if at all.
May 26, 201511 yr I think it is only supposed to have a brief summer run...kinda like the first season of Millionaire, it was on for a short time the first time it was on. I'd say this is a test run for 500, if it does well I think it will continue. I really don't think the game is scripted or answers are being fed to anyone...pretty sure that's now against the law after the fiasco back in the 50's on 21.
May 26, 201511 yr Author I just don't see its possible for the current player to ever get to 500 Questions with only 3 shows left?
May 26, 201511 yr Author I don't like when they rattle off several answers and get one right as sometimes it's hard for the audience to figure which answer was correct.
May 26, 201511 yr Watched it for the first time tonight. Questions were extremely difficult. I was impressed with the contestant, but this show is not watchable unless DVR'ed. Way too many commercials.
May 29, 201511 yr The two hour episodes seemed too long, and the one hour episodes seemed not quite long enough. I'll be surprised if this one comes back.
May 29, 201511 yr With what I said in my first post about the possible fakery element that I get a nagging feeling about, to drive that point further I find it peculiar that the guy last night who spent the entire two hours looking like a champ got knocked out with 3 strikes with all of about 1 minute left to go in the show's programming. How convenient.
