May 13, 201511 yr I saw many many discrediting him on TV the last couple of days including the purported shooter himself. Said this guy basically took story from one source and the only thing he really got right was that they did take choppers in and out. Other reporters are even piling on saying they saw the evidence at the scene of the fire fight and the other bodies. I think he's claiming there was no fire fight and they just landed somewhere, walked up shot Bin Laden and left.

The issues are a)paying an ISI guy for the info and b)the ISI knowing where he was but not telling the US.

That's one issue, another was that the President was supposed to wait a week and say that he was killed in a drone strike but came out and said it that night. One of the things this guy said was that ISI guy was on the helicopter, SEAL said that was absolutely untrue. This guy also said that Bin Laden wasn't buried at sea, which the SEAL and others also dispute. Seemed to me as if this story at it's origin was to make the administration look bad by calling them out for lying about the raid. Just from what I've seen this guy just doesn't have much if any proof and only has one source, which seems kinda weak.

May 15, 201511 yr Who cares? Seriously, why does it matter? Throughout our history we have had many circumstances were people believed there were government conspiracies, because the full story was not told. Not that the government was lying, but people are always suspicious when all the facts are not forthcoming. That is the way it has been and most likely, and unfortunately, always will be. If the story about Bin Laden is not what we were originally told, I cannot fathom why.
May 15, 201511 yr Who cares? Everyone should. Possibly more citizens would place a little more faith in our leaders. Not every detail can be made public due to national security risks. So why in the Bin Laden case would there be a need to not tell the truth. When Jimmy Carter, who I believe was not a very good President, announced that the raid to recuse the Iranian hostages had failed and he accepted full responsibility, he won my admiration. To me he is a person worth respecting for stepping up and accepting responsibility and not trying to find a way to make himself look good. I remember when Reagan made an apology to the American people for his part in the Iran-Contra Affair, I was disappointed, but once again, when a person steps up and accepts responsibility people can be more forgiving.

Do not believe this story at all....period. Too many professionals on board for that to happen. I'm going with buried at sea... As for what parts of the story, if any, are true...classified information is classified for a reason, civilians need not know the boundaries of war.
