NBA chatter = big raise for Cal.

NBA chatter = big raise for Cal.

Just came across my phone that Cal is close to signing an extension through 2021-2022.

$8 million for the extra year added for Cal

Scott Brooks and Thibs are being mentioned as guys the Pelicans will go after.

I'll be shocked if it's anyone but Thibs.

Just for the record, I said Donovan to OKC and Calipari to the Pelicans a month ago. Look it up in the Scott Brooks fired thread. #27

Yes, you did. :thumb:

Donovan to OKC. Cal takes over for Monty Williams in New Orleans after the Pelicans lose in the 1st round.

Like i said yesterday. Donovan to OKC and in about 2 weeks Calipari will be the head coach of the Pelicans.

I just wanted to bump this to the top. I think i am on to something!

I said this about a month ago.

If Cal does go, the Pelicans will miss the playoffs next year.

Even if Antony Davis had another star type player by his side, something about saying "John Calipari and New Orleans" in the same sentence doesn't sound right. Maybe that's just me.
