We should enjoy the nice weather for the next couple of days. Showers and possible storms look to return on Friday. Nothing showing on any severe weather but I'm watching to see if a system develops over the plains Wednesday or Thursday. The NAM weather model is showing a big system over parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri on Thursday.

Take care and have a blessed day.

It has rained on every single home game for LCFC so far this season. Of course it's going to be beautiful tonight, the first one I can't go to and it's going to pour on Saturday, when I'll be back in the stands.

Of course it's returning on Friday. What's a Reds series without rain.

@ctrent:

In their 13th scheduled home game, the Reds have had 5 rain delays totaling 10 hours, 16 minutes, including the delay before calling one game.

While the temps maybe in the 70's this weekend we look to have rain around the whole weekend. The potent storm I've been watching look to maybe be in our area on Monday into Tuesday. I'm watching it and will post updates when the information warrants it.

Take care and have a great Wednesday.

how much rain will EKY get on Saturday morning/afternoon, specifically Louisa?

Maybe up to 1/2-1" higher amounts in thunderstorms.

Update for Monday. It looks like those in WKY and NKY have a slight chance to see severe storms. I'll update as the info comes in.

Morning update for Monday.

While the entire state have a chance to see thunderstorms. NKY is in the marginal risk area for scattered severe storms. Hail, wind damage look to be the primary threats in any storms that develop.

Sunday afternoon update:

The marginal risk area has been expanded in Kentucky for Monday. It now includes not only northern Kentucky but parts of central Kentucky down to about the I-64 corridor. This would include the cities of Louisville, Lexington, Winchester, Morehead and Louisa.

Being in a marginal risk area means:

1. Isolated severe storms are possible

2. Winds of 40-60 mph

3. Hail up to 1"

4. Low risk of tornadoes

I'll update when the information warrants it.
