I think as long as the pick is for the third round or later I think it's OK, I believe in the past they said there was a hard fast rule that after the 2nd round no one has more than 2 players. But I may have misremembered.

May 11, 201511 yr Can you have your two keepers and someones 2nd round pick also? No you cannot. You can't have more than two players on your roster after the 2nd round is complete. Unless I'm mistaken, the earliest pick you can get in a trade is a 3rd rounder because of that rule. If I'm remembering right.
