Kareem Undergoes Heart Surgery

Featured Replies

Quadruple bypass.

Owner of the only shot in NBA history that was unstoppable.

Truly unstoppable, and yet no one has effectively copied the most indefensible shot in basketball history.

I wonder why?????

I wonder if Wilt wagged his finger like Mutumbo after those blocks. Wilt and maybe one other were the only ones I ever remember blocking the skyhook.

2nd one may have been goal tending.

I love me some old school Kareem, hope all goes well.

Lee Alcindor, '71 Bucks, best player on NBA2K. The range on his hook shot was unreal.

Lee and his frosh squad opened Pauley Pavillion by defeating the varsity by 15. The varsity ended up winning the title.

I spent some time watching his longest sky hook video.

Actually they stomped the UCLA varsity squad and UCLA was the defending National Champions but the Bruins did not win the NCAA that season. They didn't make the Tourney in 1965-66. Only year in that long run they didn't qualify because only Conference Champs made it.
