He would have to beat McCarron out for the backup spot first, and I doubt he would do that. Which I do think he will end up being a good QB, however I don't think he will be as good as McCarron.
April 14, 201511 yr Hundley is a second round pick. Which means what exactly? Dalton was a second round pick. Where you are picked as a QB in the draft is always hit and miss with way more misses. IMO unless Dalton gets the team over the hump this season, the year after will be AJ McCarron's team.

I think his size and arm strength alone will make him a better pro quarterback compared to McCarron. McCarron was a good college QB on a great team, I didn't ever think he would be a good pro. I know I am not an expert and far from it, but I see Hundley being a better pro, JMO
April 15, 201511 yr I heard Brent Musburger published his mock draft this week and he picks players based on how their girlfriends look. Apparently, Marvin Lewis doesn't use the same criteria for selecting his starting QB. (disclaimer: I have no idea what Mrs. Dalton looks like)
