PurplePride92
Finally was able to meet Coach Buchanan tonight and I love that dude. Excellent hire by Mercer County. Coach is very excited and just listening to the man talk gets you pumped and ready to play. He spoke to the public for about 30 minutes. He spoke about his offense and defense he plans to run, he spoke about his past, his present and his future, he introduced his family to us, he spoke on his goals and hopes for the youth league and middle school programs and he spoke on his love for kids and his desire for everyone's focus to be on the kids and ensuring their succes. This Boyle County guy is super happy for my friends in Mercer County and their new coach. They hit a home run with him and I think this will be the beginning of Mercer County football taking a step to the next level of establishing tradition. Welcome home, Coach!!!!!! Foreverfriday
Yes, I wasn't able to attend the formal introduction last night and wish I could have heard what he shared. Was anyone there who could share what he said about his offensive and defensive schemes and overall plans for the program?
PurplePride92
The offense will be similar to what he did at Mason County. The defense will be designed to stop opposing offenses. That's all I got. I'm old. My memory is fading.
