Brandon Copeland visited Bengals

Featured Replies

Another player who could sign with a team this week is outside linebacker Brandon Copeland. The Bengals previously met with Copeland at the NFL Veterans Combine, and he apparently visited Cincinnati, per Hobson:

The Bengals are looking for backers and Copeland is on their radar. He’s a 260-pounder undrafted out of Penn in 2013 who has knocked around some practice squads. He’s visited and maybe they’ll sign him.

Copeland has previous NFL experience with the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans before joining the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators. Few players ever make it from the Arena league to the NFL, but it looks like someone is going to give Copeland the chance to make the move.

The more we (the Bengals) talk about LBs the more I worry about Tez not coming back.

I seen Tez work out about a month ago and he looked fine doing cone drills.Unless they are worried about the concussions?

Didn't he have micro-fracture surgery?

Yes knee surgery.

If he doesn't learn how to tackle and shed blocks without ramming the crown of his helmet into people he won't have a very long career.

I am big time worried about this. Everything that is said is just he is progressing. No time table ever mentioned. w went Cali to rehab some and I don't think the Bengals liked that. I believe they want to watch him closely and they couldn't there. Sent Guenther and LB coach to Cali to check on him. That should be evidence of their confidence in him to stay on track with rehab.

I said it last year, I think he's done.

Oh great, I just bought a Tez jersey.:angrybird1:

Anytime I see 'micro fracture surgery' I immediately get that 'he's done' feeling.

Should have gone old school and got Munoz.

I'm a curse on Bengal linebackers with my jersey purchases...Odell Thurman, Takeo Spikes, Keith Rivers, David Pollack, and now Vontaze Burfict.

How about buying Dalton jerseys for the whole family?
