If you had threaten to kill your wife instead, what are you charged with? Terroristic Threatening

 

Because it's an act specifically designed to instill fear in another person. Me killing my wife to get money is an act to get money, not to instill fear. If I threaten to kill her, I'm either trying to make her afraid or coerce her into doing what I want. Terror.

It's really hard to pull a plane out of that dive even if the 2nd pilot returned. Mass murder, wrong place, wrong time.
