I have absolutely no problem with the reciting of the pledge in other languages, even Arabic. I really don't have a problem with it when being used for educational purposes. No matter the language, they are still pledging allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.

 

As for calling a religion a "fake religion" is absurd. I'm sure every religion believes their religion is the true religion. Who is to say Christianity is more true than Islam or any other religion? It's faith and believing. People can believe in what they want. If John Doe believes in another higher power than you does it really matter? Does it affect your life in any real way?

Again, you don't know what you are talking about. I have numerous Arabic speakers near my home. I live a stone's throw from an Eastern Orthodox Christian church and they go to that church.

And those who speak arabic live in places where a vast majority are muslims.

What, 1% of arabic speaking people are not Muslims.

Gotta be honest with you. Some of your posts in this thread make you sound about as tolerant as those in ISIS. No, I'm not accusing you of decapitating anyone but you certainly are throwing out a whole lot of "I'm right and everyone who believes otherwise is wrong". Isn't that the premise that ISIS bases their actions on?

 

If the pledge was said in several languages then I really see this as much ado about nothing.
