Man, if that was a rule I would have been gone ten years ago.

One of the (few) things I remember vividly about junior high school was doing a "World Religions" unit in a history class. Each student had to write a report on a branch of religion/denomination; they were drawn out of a hat. I got one of the biggies - Zoroastrianism.

 

I cannot recall a single student or parent getting offended over the project. Maybe we all just got along better back in the day.

 

My all time favorite class in college was a Religions of the World class. It was fascinating.

IMO my religion does take precedent because I feel mine is the only way to heaven.

Is it wrong to think that.

 

I will never be ok with substituting the name of God for a fake.

Some things you don't change and political correctness isn't always the answer.

 

So only English speaking Christians go to Heaven? Other names for God are fake because of the language differences?

Hate to break it to you, but there are people in this world who are Christians who speak Arabic....Guess what word they use when referring to God?

 

I know, I know, my mind was blown too.

Neither do Jews, is Judaism a full religion also?

 

Messianic Jews do belive Jesus is Gods son and was the Messiah, just as Chrsitians do.

Other groups do not.

 

I guess they will be in for a big surprise one day.

Allah mean God, yeah I think everyone knows that by now.

 

Allah to muslims isnt Jesus' father, only a prophet.

So they are worshipping a God who isnt the father of Jesus, so IMO its not true and isnt the God I worship.

My God is the father of Jesus and sent him to die for our sins.

 

So they believe in a God who isnt teh father of Jesus.

Arabic is a language, not a religion. It simply makes them a person who lives in a country that has Arabic as their official language.

Arabic is a "co-official" language of Israel....Who knew Israel was full of Muslims? :idunno:

Point being, if you speak Arabic, you may be a believer in Islam, or you may be a Christian, or you may be something entirely different. It's a language. Language doesn't define a person's religion, just as religion doesn't define a person's language.
