A Saudi Arabian woman who insulted a man on WhatsApp has been sentenced to receive 70 lashes.

 

The 32-year-old confessed to arguing with the man via the mobile messaging service before offending him, reports Gulf News.

 

It's not clear exactly what she said that outraged her alleged victim so much.

 

But a court in Al Qatif ordered her to undergo the horrific punishment, whilst also fining her 20,000 Saudi Riyal ($5,300).

 

News of the painful penalty came on the same day that another Saudi man divorced his wife after she posted a sarcastic WhatsApp status about him.

 

He claimed that she wrote: "I pray to be patient enough to put up with you" followed by his initials.

 

When his relatives confirmed that she was addressing him, he said he was left embarrassed, reports Al Arabiya.

 

"We were already miles apart in our relationship so I decided to divorce her before she retells my entire life story on social media," he told the Saudi Gazette.

True that its unacceptable. But considering where she lived, I'm sure that she knew the risks.

It is very interesting, as well as a bit scary on what is going on behind the scenes in Saudi Arabia, namely with the princes who are not immediate successors. They are the ones who are funding a great deal of money to the terror groups. They all know that the Kingdom will fall, they just don't know when, and these who are paying these groups want to be on their side when the Kingdom falls.

 

A large number of the top royal family members have plans, pilots and all on 24/7 standby, for when that moment comes, so they can swiftly fly to the French Riviera. If you ever want the best paying protection job, if you don't mind living over there, they spend more money to protect their royal family than any other country, the U.S.S.S. pails in comparison in funding.

 

I often admire these woman, and others in some of these countries, that do these things knowing the brutal punishment they will receive. Yes, we have our own form, but not as brutal as in such places as Saudi Arabia.

At lest no beheading. Saudis lead world in legal lopping.
