He's visiting Minnesota.

I wouldnt sign him.

Why?

Why?

Bengals offered him good money last year and he left (it wasnt like they low balled the guy.) Bengals moved on without him. Bengals dont need to be throwing olive branches out to players that didnt want to play here. Couldnt stay on the field last year after getting "big money" so whats going to happen in the future? Its an unknown that doesnt need to A. Clogg up the roster, and B. hold up a bunch of salary cap money, that you can use to resign some guys that want to play for the Bengals. (Whitt for example)

If he will take 2M a year, maybe consider it, otherwise Ill pass.

If the money is right I would sign him.

And I don't blame him for taking the money in Tampa last year, he made out.

The Vikes may overpay, if so, so be it.

I don't know, if an accounting firm offered you a 20-30% pay raise to go with them, would you do it and they guarantee your salary for three years whether they fire you or not? Even though you are happy where you are. I think most would.

I can't blame any of them going for the $$, especially when you will probably play 10 years at the most. Some longer, but most much less.

Your missing part of my point, the Bengals and Bucs contract offers were closer than 20-30% from each other.

To answer your question, I did that once 9 years ago this month to be exact (went for the money) didnt turn out well on multiple levels, live and learn.

The current job I have now, I had an offer from and another place, other place was 10K more a year, I didnt take that one. Would 10K more a year be nice, sure would, but not for the headaches I saw with that job. I made a great choice this time around.

Rumors are Zimmer and the Vikings are after him as well...

Hate to say this because you don't want to jinx it, but you gotta think the Bengals are the favorites if the money is right... By all accounts, he's still got a lot of friends in the DLine room...

Side note Zimmer just bought a farm in Independence.

He is a Bengal again.

He really did.

He really did.

Now that's interesting. I thought you were kidding.
