Joe wanted to play D1, so he walked on at UofL as a fullback. He red-shirted last year, and is currently running 2nd at the position to Illinois transfer, Brock Bolen. Joe scored the only White Team (2nd string) touchdown in the Cardinals big spring game last Friday. He's really doing quite well! :thumb:

I kinda doubt there will be a UK and a WKU signee starting on the Tigers OL. They will be good, but not as talented as they were in '05.

Despite the loss of Jeffries and Elder, I agree with Xtiger69 that they will be better this year than last. The first game against Bowling Green will tell us a lot. Look for the 2006 version of the Tigers OL to function much better as a unit.

Wow. After Glaser saying last year was the best, now this year will be the best.

The quickness will be much improved as well!

Odd choice of words. Usually when someone says that a part of the team will be "better as a unit" despite the exit of star players, its code for ego issues and a lack of team work. Surely you don't mean anything like that, do ya Ox?

No he means that with Coach Brown moving up you will have three excellent O-Line coaches in Glaser, Chitwood and Brown to spend the neccessary time on the small things that go into technique and cohesieness that an O-Line must have. Not everyone zone blocks these days, some teams still scheme and block many different defenses many different ways. O-Line coach at X or Trinity is tough due to the numbers each school has at that position.

I guess if the best wasn't good enough last season :sssh:

I know it is a good problem.

Iknow that it was posted over on the UofL site that the Cards offered Vic, but was he ever offered by the Cats? Cat fans, any info?
