Oh How They've Fallen....

How long do they give Foust before he's in the hot seat, or is he already? Would Winstel take the reins if that happened? Rumor was she sat on the bench midway through the season but not sure in what capacity.

Coach Winstel was filling in as AD while the regular AD was on leave. She sat on the bench because who wouldn't want her involved. She has more basketball knowledge than all the rest of us put together.

She also filled in for 3 games when he was ejected.

Suspended for his ejection anyway. 3 T's in one game equal 3 game suspension.

How about a coaching staff of Nancy and Nell. Who would beat them?

3 T's in one game equals getting your money's worth on the way out the door !

Neither could or would. Two tremendous coaches and wonderful ladies.

Don't mean to be a downer, but could you attribute the first round loss to the new PG? When you have a team who goes to regional finals and state finals back to back years, could throwing in someone who wasn't already a part of that championship team hurt them? Not a knock on the kid, just curious what you think. Poor coaching decision IMO to have a new one in the starting lineup with a team that's already done great things together.

That would be a question for her team mates. And this wasn't her first year as a varsity PG.

I never saw NDA play this year. Did they graduate their PG from last year or did she get hurt? If so, the way you phrase your question of attributing the first round loss to the PG seems harsh. Teams have to rebuild...I don't attribute that to the PG...I would attribute it to rebuilding and gaining experience or doing the best with what you have. This is a bad example but if HC doesn't make it out of their district next year are you going to attribute it to their C next year who might only be 5'9" instead of 6'2"?
