How did Miller play?

I'd love to see a box score. I'm interested in Miller, the MMI kids, and Slaughter's performances.

Also, the name Cam Thoroughman I saw on the roster in the other thread is very familiar to me. Did he used to play in KY?

How did Miller play?

Miller will never play at Louisville, he did win the three point contest with no one guarding him, but could not hit it saturday night, he looked small, quick, but not real good on decision making, had a lot of turnovers, but was the first time I ever saw him play, maybe he just had an off night

Miller is a good shooter but he's so small, I don't ever see him doing much for the Cards but he'll get a free education and learn from one of the best in the land, I'd settle for that. Brown from MMI had one bucket that I can recall, the other MMI player probably had 6-8 points and a few boards. Slaughter had a few nice buckets, did nothing from the perimeter and missed a bunch of free throws.

Owens has a lot of talent but needs to grow up. Watched him in the game and the Friday night festivities and he was always running his mouth. Put on a pretty good show in the slam dunk contest but got it handed to him in the one-on-one competition by an Ohio player all the while running his mouth. Any Div. I school that takes a chance on him is getting a talented player but a head case. I mean how do you get yourself thrown out of an all-star game. Grow up youngman, the time for you is now. Don't blow it.

Miller is a walk on, that is not Free, Slaughter made some shots but he played way below his normal game, probally only shot around 20% from the free throw line and had at least one air ball which is not normal for him

He was at greenup Co. and then Raceland.

He'll fit in well in Morgantown, loves to shoot the three, actually had three nasty airballs from downtown.

Cam attended Greenup county schools through 8th grade, went to Raceland as a 9th grader and finished up at Clay County High School in Portsmouth.

He is still feeling the effects of a knee surgery in February, he will likely see some playing time next year as a Freshman for the Mountaineers. He can play

You are correct about it not being free, I don't know what made me post that, I think Cam will fit in well, he's big, has some ball skills and has a nice stroke.

Yeah, as best that I can remember he came to Raceland from Greenup Co. when Randy Ward lost his job at GC. He went to the school in Ohio when Ward got the job there.
