Maybe I'm nitpicking but I'd suggesting a notification, just like you received a like, for when you are quotes vs. an email?

Although I've checked my settings and everything seems to be in order, I'm still receiving email notifications when someone responds to any of my posts. I really can't figure how to make it stop. :idunno:

 

I have it set at "Do Not Subscribe" as it has always been.

If you go to the Settings screen, on the left you'll see a sidebar. At the bottom is a category called "User Tagging" and there is a settings link under that. Go to that settings link. One of the options on that screen is a box to "Disable Quote Emails".

You should be able too, change the setting to "notification through control panel" I think, I havent messed with it.

This is what I did from my laptop:

 

Click on “account” at top right of BGP screen.

 

Click on “settings”.

 

Scroll down to where you see Quote Emails. There will be a box for you to check to disable Quote Emails. (Check this box if you do not wish to receive an email whenever you are quoted in a post.)

 

SAVE changes.

 

That’s all there is to it.

I keep getting a notification of 15 new notifications (I am assuming its for quotes) Thats fine, but there must be a bug, as it keeps popping up on every thread, but not on the what's new screen.

And click on new notifications. It should reveal them to you and zero them out.

I think it did, cause after refreshing it had a number "2" up with 2 new quotes.
