Not this season. They haven't played any teams worth coming to watch

They played Estill, and beat them 9-5. You guys played Clark County and beat them 2-1......but so did Estill, by a score of 5-3. Your win over Clark is impressive, but let's not go overboard with it.

Lee county has a tough schedule. Look it up on KHSAA. They are 4-0 right now. They won the 14th region All A tournament, with wins over Cordia, June Buchanan, and Owsley. Those games were scheduled for them because of the tournament draw, but Coach Combs has a demanding schedule.

Lee has the best pitching staff in the region from top to bottom. Leslie has the best pitcher in the region in Morgan, but after that, all of Lee's # 2 pitchers are better than Leslie's # 2 pitchers. Plus Lee's hitters are ever bit as good as Leslie's. I don't get where you think Leslie is so much better than Lee.

Didn't Lee beat them twice last year?

How could it be much different from last year? Lee has everyone back. So does Leslie. Lee played Leslie twice last year. They beat them in the regular season, and they beat them in the regional tournament. What makes you think things have changed that much since last year?

Is that all you have to go on is things that happened last year?

You would get proved wrong on Leslie's pitching. There top 3 throw in the 80's. Lee's schedule is no tougher than Leslie's. Also, you can't go on Estill beating clark and Lee beating Estill the same team may not have showed up you know that teams have better games than at other times. Clark is not the only team we have beaten Somerset by 10+.

The answer is in the name and in human nature; Hope springs eternal. I'm sure he is as terrified of playing Lee as Ky is Florida next year with all their players back but I hope we beat them too. What other choice does he have but to be defiant in the face of such adversity. I admire him for his courage. And I mean that. I saw the coach's 6 year old son hit one over the fence in little league last year.If he has his young son doing that can you imagine what the big boys are doing?

HaHa. You guys are hilarious     . 6 year old play little league?

I stand corrected. My son, who had an ant farm in center field, retired from the game soon after the home run and I forgot the actual name of the league. But he did hit the ball over the fence.

I wouldn't doubt it. Coach Combs is about 6'4, and his younger brother is about 6'8. And his brother Clarence has a boy that's by far the tallest kid in his 4th grade class. That family grows 'em big.:D

Well, since both teams basicly have the same teams back from last year (plus Lee has Matt Eversole back...he missed last year because of injury) I will answer your question with a simple ....YES!

Leslie is better than Lee right now & will be better than Lee when it really counts...That's MY opinion

That's okay. I respect your opinion. But they'll have to back it up, and that may be a little harder to do than talk.....That's MY opinion.

Leslie is 7-0

Lee is 4-0

Leslie's opponents have a combined record of 17-22

Lee's opponents have a combined record of 10-10 (not counting JBS because they don't have any scores posted on KHSAA)

Lord, let us get past the first two weeks of the season! Both teams have tough schedules, but both probably have a few weak sisters on their schedule as well.

Yeah, Clark probably played their A game against Estill, and Somerset looks to be no great shakes either. Owsley could probably beat them.
