I know, I know......I got a little confused. I knew Lee beat Leslie twice last year, and I thought one of them was in the region, but I now remember, it was Powell.

 

Owsley plays Lee this Tuesday at Beattyville. We may have to give them the old one-two. It's been a while since we've notched a win over them. Of course, I'd rather settle for a W over the Cats in the district tournament.

I just enjoy the give and take about the teams in our region, but I don't mean to rub anyone the wrong way. I just have a habit of taking up for my district's teams.

I realize Leslie will be (and is) a handful for anyone to beat, particularly when Morgan is on the mound. They're very good, and a 7-0 record proves that.

A lot will be determined by how the regional tournament draw goes. Assuming the top teams get there, it would be in Leslie's favor to be able to hold Morgan until they meet up with Lee. If they drew the runner-up in the 55th, they would probably be able to do that. However, if they draw the runner-up in the 56th, or even the 53rd, they would probably have to go with Morgan on opening day. On the other hand I'm sure the 56th winner will want to draw the 55th too, for the same reason.

And please, will the 55th faithful not come down too hard on me.

I did not mean that in an offensive manner. I just meant you shouldnt feel like you have to explain yourself to someone. Of course you can if you want to though. My point was these polls are fan based and you can vote however you want..:thumb: And yes Im aware this is a discussion board. I just hoped we could conduct these polls without people getting in heated arguments, because its just simply for fun.
