A posting in another thread brought up the point that the 43rd district could be the toughest in the state.

 

With Dunbar, LCA, Lafayette, Tates Creek and Lex Cath, it could be.

 

I'll take the 9th district. Apollo, Daviess County, Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic are 4 of the top 5 or 6 teams in the 3rd region.

 

What other tough districts are there?

42nd with Scott Co., Bryan Station & Henry Clay.

29th District: Oldham County, South Oldham, North Oldham, Trimble County

The 40th is also pretty tough. Any of the top three teams could win it this year (Montgomery Co, Clark Co, Paris)

I wouldn't feel too bad for Sayre. Their future is bright.....and the basketball is getting better. I wouldn't be suprised at all if they knock off one of the big dawgs in the district in the next couple of years. David vs Goliath.

Without question it is the 9th District. Apollo, Daviess County, Owensboro, Owensboro Catholic are 4 of the best teams in the region, year in and year and and two of them watch the Regional Tournament just like I do, in the stands.
