Media & KHSAA Coaches ,

The 25th Annual Joe B. Hall Prep Classic that was postponed last Saturday has been officially cancelled due to many different conflicts with rescheduling , my most sincere apologies to the great fans across the Commonwealth who have supported this event over the years , I have started preparations for next year already to hopefully make this event as popular as ever .

Game Director,

Ira D Combs

Too bad. Mount Sterling is a pleasant little drive for me.

After not being able to play the past two seasons in the Joe B Hall because of weather, Holmes and Trinity have agreed to play a home and home starting next season at Trinity. Date TBA.

Me too.

I was looking forward to the classic. They had some really great matchups scheduled.

After having trouble the last couple of years, maybe they should consider moving it back a little bit. Maybe around Valentines Day?

The Saturday or Sunday before district tournaments would be suffice

They are meeting sometime in February at MC with Bart to talk about the future of this event to make sure this is avoided in the future. Not sure if this means a location change or date change but the direction of the event will be discussed.

It wasn't until yesterday that they lost 4 of the teams scheduled for the event because of conflicts.

Montgomery Co Arena host Middle School State Wrestling the First weekend in February every year, as well as HS regionals sometimes. Early February is not a good time for them to host this event.
