Yeah. To further put that sum at Miami in perspective, just last week, UofL received a $12.6 million dollar gift from a local investor. The $6.3 million earmarked for athletics is not the largest athletics gift ever.

 

The $6.3 million earmarked for the Jazz Studies department at the School of Music, however, is the largest single gift in the music school's history.

Ndamukong Suh's $2.6 million to Nebraska ($2 million to Athletics and $600,000 to the Engineering School) remains the largest donation ever made to Nebraska by a former student athlete. Not the biggest to the school in general.
