How many "Huh, I thought that guy was black" will be uttered?

No telling for sure...but I'll predict that of the hipsters in the audience crowd, 1/2 will actually know the lead singer is actually a white guy, and the other 1/2 would never admit to not already knowing a detail like that about a band because, well, they're hipsters.

Also....it's not a music festival (at all), but the Iroquois Ampitheatre here in Louisville has a REALLY solid lineup for the 2-1/2 weeks worth of music they have booked thus far for the year:

Saturday, April 25th

Neutral Milk Hotel

With Opener: Circulatory System

Thursday, April 30th

Ryan Adams

With Opener: Jenny Lewis

Friday, May 1st

JJ Grey & Mofro

Wednesday, May 6th

NEEDTOBREATHE

Friday, May 8th

Wilco

With Opener: Steve Gunn

Tuesday, May 12th

Death Cab For Cutie

With Opener: The Antlers

I'm not much for JJ Grey & Mofro, and I could care less about NEEDTOBREATHE, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to at least go to Neutral Milk Hotel and Death Cab/The Antlers. Probably will add Wilco in there too.

Thanks for the heads up on Wilco. I've been wanting to see them again.

I wanted to go to the Ryan Adams show, but my wife has a final that night and she'd kill me if I saw Jenny Lewis without her.

I'll also be at Neutral Milk Hotel.

No Sam Smith? :D

That Saturday lineup does look pretty good. Too bad I am broke.

I was considering hanging around to drink irresponsibly and heckle...

Or just an opportunity for a good night's sleep a little early.

I think that's far more likely to be the way things go there...
