January 15, 201511 yr Author Based on some online discussion, as well as my own guessing, I think this either has to mean: 1) A Kentucky act, due to the fact that we have both a Green River and a Red River here...so probably Sturgill Simpson, or maybe Dwight Yoakam will be returning again this year (which would be just fine by me). 2) Portugal. The Man - "A man of many men" seems to hint at the band since there are multiple memebers in the band, yet it's called Portugal. The Man. "land of red and green" seems right, since the flag of Portugal is half red and half green with a national crest in the center. "painted rivers" seems to hint further since their song AKA M80 The Wolf has a lyric that says "Paint me that river". My best guess, of those two choices, is that they booked Portugal. The Man.

That ranks right up there with the worst band names ever.
