Joseph Castanada of CovCath has been getting better every season.

Ben Revere was the best I have ever been around last year and he will be a Senior next year at Lex Cath. One on one he held the 6'4 kid from Lex Christian to 0 or 1 catch and the same for the 6'4 kid from Scott Co. He held Guiduli to two catches the Highlands game. He held Bovard from Cov Cath well under his average and the same from the kid from Rockcastle. I'm pretty sure nobody from Bowling Green caught a ball on him either. The only time he got scored on was once by Victor Anderson one on one which is how he played everybody all year. The kid is a STUD!!! He's probably even better at baseball!

Where are you getting your stats from? The 6'4 kid (Haddix) from Scott Cty, had 4 catches that night 1 was a 21 yd. touchdown reception. This is from a team that runs a Wing - T offense, the ball was thrown only 8 times the entire game. Haddix also had a 94 yard kickoff return while playing DB, he limited Cornell Burbage to 5 receptions and 59 yards receiving with numerous pass deflections. Haddix will be one of the top DB\WR in the State.

Matt Metts, a 5-10 180 Sr. SS from Dunbar will be one of the top DB's in Central Ky. He tied for the lead in Int's for Dunbar in 2005.

If you saw the game, you would know Haddix did not catch a single ball when coverd by Revere.

Of those returning, I'd say Revere of Lex Cath and Castanada and Brown from Cov Cath were the best the Birds played against.

Revere is the best cover corner in the stat bar none. There are some other good ones, but he is the way ahead of them.

From Russell, Clark has been mentioned, but also Sizemore. Both are three year starters and very good.

Revere is a very good corner I will say that. Good luck to the young man

Don't overlook Brian Winklepleck from Owensboro Catholic. Last year as a sophomore, Brian made 1st Team All-State as a DB with an amazing 14 interceptions.

I dont see how McDavid from Ashland hasn't been mentioned after being named 2nd team all-state last year as a junior. He has great playmaking ability after an interception, he ran one for a 100 yd td last year in the playoffs.
