January 7, 201511 yr I'll go back to the skate park deal. Do you have to sign a waiver of liability for all the broken limbs? What needs to happen is signs placed in those areas and say sled at your own risk. And local judges who acknowledge those signs and the inherent risk if you go. To my knowledge most skate parks have signs like you mentioned. I can't imagine why the same wouldn't work for sledding.

January 7, 201511 yr One more thing to run into. Serious question guru.. I was told by a retired police officer that your just asking for trouble if you put up a "beware of the dog" sign like we have all seen. I was told that your admitting that you have an aggressive dog and that if it bites, you have opened yourself up to a potential lawsuit, warning or not. I dont have such a sign, nor an aggressive dog. This may be something for another thread, but I'm just curious what your thoughts are on this?
