If they had been on a charter like many big schools it would have been tough enough. However, they did it on the Big Yellow One that they ride to school on everyday. Correct that, you know they drive to school since they are all seniors, which probably makes it more of an extreme. Here I am going north on Kings Boulevard in Myrtle Beach and they pass me heading to eat supper, and yes on that school bus.

Letcher County Central (twice), Powell County, June Buchanan, Hopkinsville, Belfry, Jenkins, PCC, Buckhorn, Sheldon Clark, and Rowan County is their schedule going forward. Throw out Hopkinsville and its not exactly murderers row. Not being tested might hurt them once they get to the state tourney.

Am sure a lot of those games are district/region games that they have to play. Every team has to do that

I'd say they were miserable. There's no doubt that the travel had a big impact

I understand they traveled a lot of miles and they were tired but lets also give the Muhlenburg County kids their props. They came to play and showed amazing determination in coming back from 9 down with 6 minutes to play against one of the better teams in the state. Yes Knott County Central was tired but the mustangs played inspired basketball.

I agree Foremanwc. I am sure if I were a Muhlenburg supporter I would like to see some appreciation for their play. I wasn't there, didn't get to see it but I am also sure that Muhlenburg gave them a big-time scare.

All teams travel a lot this time of year. That's not an excuse. Maybe they overlooked MC a little? KCC's schedule hasn't exactly been loaded. Don't be surprised if they get "tested" like this by a few more teams this year.

Let's see, Covington Catholic, what have they done, oh yeah they won Sweet 16 last March, North Little Rock, AK, 2 time defending State Champs was ranked # 1 when KCC played them, Sagemont, FL #2 ranked team FL beat KCC 1, Shadow Mt. , AZ ranked #1 in AZ, Spring Valley ,SC # 3 in SC overlook Muhlenberg? Mustangs had a good game plan knowing Pats may be a little tired. KCC just did not have the spring in their step to get out and cover Stovall on the 3s. Great teams find ways to win even under the most adverse conditions and that is what KCC did Friday night!
