I'm just hopeful that the beaten man was actually a bad guy and not a victim.

If he is indeed a rapist then :dancingpa

Taking the law into your own hands is not a good thing.

Now big bad boyfriend is headed to jail too.

If you have a cause that you believe in, sometimes it's worth going to jail.

If I walked in on someone doing that to someone I love, I think it would be really really hard to restrain myself. I can't condemn the boyfriend for his actions. It would be different if he hadn't walked in on it and just waited and caught the guy walking down the street after the fact.

This is why it's important to read things twice for comprehension.

Didn't realize he walked in on it. The first time I went through it, I read the section about him "coming back" differently. As if he had come back to where the guy was and not where his girlfriend was... or something. At any rate, I had it wrong.

Yeah, crime of passion. Hard to hold him overly responsible for that.

Yeah, but it's just jail. It's not like I'm going to prison for beating up some rapist. I've never been in trouble in my life; I doubt I'll be in jail for long.

I didn't see anywhere that he was arrested...I looked at 8 or 9 reports...I guess I missed the one saying the boyfriend was arrested.

Like I said above, I read it wrong the first time through.

He wasn't arrested and after reading through the account again, shouldn't be.

Like I've heard before:

Don't start none, won't be none.

He deserved the beating.
