On a side note regarding Bolden, I believe he is within 400 pts of reaching 2k for his career.

Scored his 1,500th point v Harrison Co.

KHSAA rule that as apart of his suspension he isn't allowed to wear any "team/school gear."

Weird rule but that's why he was in West Va gear the past two nights.

That is a weird rule.

He still can't show outward support for his own school?

That's just stupid.

I am thinking a rule was misinterpreted.

Look it up. I dont know the exact wording but if a player is suspended in his situation, they aren't allowed wearing team apparel if sitting on the bench.

I am thinking a rule was misinterpreted.

Let's hope so... I like the world that I live in to make a little bit of sense.

I'll do the work for Clyde....

Case BL-15-7- If a player (participant) is ejected from a scrimmage or contest, how long is the suspension?

(7) During the subsequent suspension period, suspended players may attend contest(s), but may not be in the game uniform or other school identifiable clothing and may not participate in any school-related activity (warm up activity) prior to or during the game, and will be classified as non-player personnel during that contest as it relates to playing rules enforcement. It is a local school determination as to whether or not this student may be in the vicinity of the bench or team area

There you go. Doesn't make sense.

That rule is ridiculous. You can sit on the bench but can't wear school specific gear?

I agree...not much does make sense when it comes to the KHSAA.

Rule also states that a player must leave the gym (playing area) as soon as the ejection occurs and I'd be willing to bet 90% of the time refs don't enforce that rule.

In Bolden's case they let him sit at the end of the bench in a warm up and never told the coaches he had to leave the gym.

Are we sure that he wasn't wearing Walton Verona spirit wear and not West Virginia?

By the rules, he'd actually be allowed to do that, now wouldn't he?

This game was much closer than i anticipated. I think Walton-Verona is continuing to get better.

McClendon led Holmes with 20.

14 & 10 for Rod Avery

My understanding is a suspended coach isn't even allowed to attend the game so not wearing Holmes apparel after a player suspension seems OK. It is a penalty you know. By the way the second T was poorly dished out to this young man. shame he was suspended for that matter.
