Not in real time... and when you are the guy on the rim and see someone running in like that out of the corner of your eye you don't have the luxury of knowing if they're going to undercut you. Most refs I see doing games can barely run up and down the floor, let alone jump up and touch the net. Funny to me that they get to make these kinds of judgement calls.

Hi Danny...where you been?...we missed you...

Who else would make these judgement calls?

Refs that have passed physical tests as well as the written ones... refs that are in a certain degree of shape

I have no dog in this but after watching both dunk videos how is one a T and the other is not??? It looked at if both dunks ended the same way with a kid hanging on the rim and spinnning around :idunno:. T or not thats not my call to make but if one is then IMHO so is the other. Cant have it both ways. These dunks appear to mirror each other all the way to the spin. Jersey # is the only difference.

Its all about consistancy to me. Eithier both are T's or none.

Bolden dunk gets the T for hanging / swinging...no defender close enough to warrant self protection. Avery dunk, over a defender, definitely protecting himself while airborne. No problem with these calls. Double T - not sure what was said by either, or where / what game situation was up to the time of T's.

Side note: I always like overgeneralizations when it relates to an entire group. I watch a lot of high school basketball, and I mean a lot, and while I agree that officials should be in shape (personally one of my pet peeves), I do not think that "most" can barely run up and down the floor. Last I checked, touching the net was not a criteria for officiating or spectating....that's why we watch others do it.

If only I could believe that....LOL
