I can see him getting 31 last night. Like Jim and I both mentioned in the update thread, Bardstown was super small.

Kid had 31 points against a good team. Also had 5 assists. Give him a little credit.

It was a 12-point game in the 2nd quarter when I left.

Nice to see Drew bust out with a big game. He is their Bell Cow they definitely need to run the offense through him.

 

Weyer has been a nice additional scoring opiton as well. His ability to run the floor and rebound is key. I am assuming Anderson has stepped in as the 5th Starter.

 

Good win for the Breds after the recent setback to Doss.

I was at the game and the NCC lead was 8 in the 4th but that was the closest I saw.

Never said he shouldn't be given credit. Just stating facts. McDonald is an elite player and I wasn't taking anything away from him.

Bardstown had no answer for his size inside. 1 exception some really quick hands from small guards that was able to grab the ball from him several times.

 

The score may have seemed closer but Bardstown didn't have an answer last night.

 

Freppon seems to come up with the ball everytime you turn around.

Bardstown will have to rely on their quickness, as they have no inside game what so ever. They can create havoc defensively, and could score points off turnovers.
