Coach Perkins and AD Stan should have been tossed from the gym for the way they were on the refs,,totally out of control for adults..

Hmmm, I'd say if Stan Steidel was giving a ref grief, maybe it was deserved. But now that I think of it, ADs probably need to be silent and let the coaches do the barking. And no I was not there, just making an observation.

ADs should never get after officials during the course of play. This is completely unprofessional in my opinion.

If most games are called like the ones I have seen early on in the season, there will be a lot of coaches giving refs grief. Agree no AD should give any lip during a game. After the game a phone call from the AD to the commission about an officials ability or inability may be what needs to happen

Congrats to Holmes, they have a nice team. Certainly surprised with Shelby early in season. Hopefully they get things figured out

I'm sure at some point the Lady Dawgs will get some credit for their performance on the floor!! This is a little silly to make such a stink of the coaches and administrators getting on refs when in fact we ALL do it from time to time!! It's not like either were T'D up and Perkins was only warned the once and that's perfectly in his rights... I once just recently heard about another NKY coach at a high profile school getting 3 T's in one game and have barely heard a peep about it!! So my only issue with this opinion is that there seems to be some animosity towards the Lady Dawgs and coaching staff!! The girls have won a couple tough road games yhe last couple of weekends and have played pretty good D doing so and maybe it's time to take notice of that!!!

I so agree with you dg21. This time they didn't run up the score or hold the ball and people just can't say congrats to the girl's thanks to those who did the girl's play hard to get to where they are and people can't respect that but if the boy's where 5-0 they would praise them until the end imo

All kinds of respect for the girls from me. They are good and I'm glad. Makes the season really exciting. Not sure NKY has ever had 3 teams in the top 12. Maybe they have, I really don't know. But still exciting!

As a former AD, there was never one point in my career that I ever approached an official before or after a game. If there was ever an issue, it was reported to the KHSAA & a call or email was sent to the assigner with a followup discussion after the fact with the assigner.

 

Now, I wasn't at this game so I am not speaking @ all about what is being said about this coach & AD, just stating what I did in my former life.
