Montgomery Co lead most of the first 3 quarters, but West Jessamine picked up their defense after the break and held the Indians scoreless for the last several minutes of the 3rd period. A 3 just before the buzzer gave the Colts 44-38 lead after 3.

The Indians kept it close in the 4th and had 5 shots to tie in the last 2 minutes, but couldn't convert any of them. The best of which was a pretty uncontested layup with under 5 seconds left.

 

Ely was named player of the game for West, and he got support from McCovey and Holifield.

Walker lead the Indians with around 17. Hodgson, Fuller and Hall all chipped in with about 8-10 each.

West Jessamine with 3 guys in double figures. Brooks Ely with 15, David McCorvey 14, & Siah Holifield 11.

Like Walker's game. Is Chism normally a starter and how much longer is he out for?

As long as Coach Kelly is at West, they will always be team to be reckoned with. His teams always get it done.

He would have competed for a starting spot had he been healthy.

Last I heard is they are hoping he can be back after Christmas.
