That is the cause of two things, nerves and when a team is a running team mostly they aren't used to changing to a passing team and as they say practice makes perfect. You can't just switch in mid stream when you haven't p,ayed that way all year.

Owensboro is no Trinity

Trinity has more athletes than Dixie does. Its not scheduling, although that is part of the prep. Trinity is one of the rare teams that can schedule nationally, take their lumps, and can rebound for district play and post-season play and not be destroyed from a confidence standpoint because they have better athletes than pretty much anyone they play in-state.

Scheduling has less to do with a teams success than just having great athletes. If you've got great players you will win more times than not no matter who you schedule.

 

No one will convince me that if Trinity played SK's schedule they still wouldn't be where they are at right now.
