Who are the three Class 1A teams better then Williamsburg?

 

still 55 said this in reference to the him thinking the "State Championship" game was played when Mayfield faced Beechwood.

 

So, if Mayfield is the number one best team and Williamsburg took them to OT in the State Championship Game, who are the other two Class 1A teams that played Mayfield closer?

 

No, that game was last Friday in Ft Mitchell. We will be facing the 4th best team in 1a.

I agree. I think Mayfield, Beechwood, Russellville and Williamsburg are all quality teams that are closer in comparison with one anther then some may have thought. I also feel there are three or four other teams that are just as close at the second tier this season. I think the top 8 teams in Class 1A had quality seasons and proved they were in the hunt.

1A will be wide open next year with the bad boys from out west moving to 2A

For What its worth IMO...Beechwood would have also beat Williamsburg today. I still believe, as I have said before that the State Championship was played last Friday night at Beechwood.

The Frankfort team that played Franklin County this year would have made noise, too many injuries.. a healthy Panthers team would have beat Beechwood that night.
