I over herd a coach's conversation and i heard that Mahan is going to play for both teams.

You are so wise, Graybeard. What would a scrimmage be like with only one quarterback. Now that wouldn't be much fun.

At Mason, our plan is to use one qb for both teams this spring. Long story, but we have done this before. Leon's been around the block once or twice. I am sure whatever is best for the team is what he will do, just like we do when we make those decisions here.:thumb:

This would prove to be most beneficial to the young man.

I don't know how wise I am, but after talking to him at EKU, and coaching against him, I know Leon is an outstanding coach. Ashland has a very good football program and staff.

Hope the Ashland faithful have a great day on Saturday. Spring football is alot of fun!

But not as much fun as fall football!

They were excused from Spring practice because they just got done with basketball. I dont know why Daniel wouldnt play, he has been running the 2nd team O.

But Ryan Bonner is playing this spring isnt he?

Yep. But he needs more work than Drew and Matt.

But not as much fun as fall football!

Is anything as much fun as fall football?? I think NOT! :ylsuper:

With that I do agree!:thumb:

How does everyone feel the practices have been going so far? I believe the teams for the Marroon/White scrimmage will be announced tomorrow.

Yes, everyone knows which team they are on. They will flip coins to see which coaching staff gets what team.

Team had a pretty good practice today. Lot of emotion for a spring practice imo.
