Final from Park Hills.

The most important part of the night was the support both communities showed '93 grad Lt Col Scott White and his beautiful family. His daughter Grace has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. HC raised $500 for a local cancer research group and CCH raised $2700. Hats off to both groups.

Great speech by Scott about brotherhood and support of friends. Hopefully, every kid in the building took that important lesson home with them.

To be honest, this sort of wiped me out mentally and emotionally. Hard to get excited about the game.

With that said CCH looked OK. Played pretty hard . Offensive lacked consistency. It looked like 3 guys who got significant minutes last year and a bunch of guys in their first significant varsity action.

D won the game for them.

P.S. I'm still a really big fan of Bezold's game. He's not athletic. Not quick. Not fast. Not physically strong.

What is though is a basketball player who works on his craft. Fun to watch.

CVH led CovCath with 18.

Bezold had a game-high 19 to lead Holy Cross.

Hats off to the community for coming together to help this great cause. Truly an amazing thing.

Also, I cannot believe the amount of kids in the cheering section. The Crazies were in full force tonight! It was loud, deafening really lol! My ears are still ringing. Congrats to the blue boys!

It was the largest student section that I recall.

CCH JV won by 11. Bishop had 10 for CCH.

CCH frosh won by 18. Walter had 9.

Once again, great picture, Mr. paNDA. Sounds like a very emotional day in Park Hills. Sorry I missed this.

They could have gone with a larger banner. Well deserved.

That is the official KHSAA banner. Any school would kill to have just one.

Didn't know that, thanks for the insight.. Then the KHSAA needs to go with a larger banner...
