December 4, 201411 yr BBC News - Spectre to be title of next James Bond film Spectre will be the title of the 24th official James Bond film, its makers have announced. Director Sam Mendes revealed the title at a launch event at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where principal photography is due to begin on Monday. Daniel Craig will play 007 for the fourth time in the film, to be released in the UK on 23 October 2015. Other cast members were also announced at Thursday's event, which was beamed around the world. They include Sherlock's Andrew Scott, as a Whitehall-based character called Denbigh, and Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista, playing a henchman called Mr Hinx. Italian actress Monica Bellucci and France's Lea Seydoux have been unveiled as the new 'Bond girls', named Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann respectively. Can't wait. Love that they are referring back to the organization SPECTRE which was in many of the early Bond films.
December 4, 201411 yr Christoph Waltz currently listed as playing a character named "Oberhauser"... but if the rumors are true and he's going to play Blofeld, I can't think of a better person for the role. Mendes should talk Tarantino about how to get the best out of him. He seems ill-used in so many other English-language movies he's in. I'm also impressed at the movie career Dave Bautista's been able to put together. He's got a featured role in two massive movie franchises now.
December 4, 201411 yr The teaser poster is awesome too... Remember the old Spectre logo from the 60s? It was an octopus. Cool design to use the broken glass under the bullet hole.
December 4, 201411 yr ....love me some Monica Bellucci. Kinda surprised she hasn't been in a Bond movie already.
December 4, 201411 yr I can never get enough Bond, and I really like the last few as well with Daniel Craig as Bond.
July 22, 201511 yr ....love me some Monica Bellucci. Agreed....she reminds me of my favorite Bond lady, Carole Bouquet (For Your Eyes Only).
July 30, 201511 yr Bookmakers in the UK are betting on Radiohead as the band writing the theme song for the movie. I love Radiohead, but I don't see them as a "Bond Theme" kind of band. That would be pretty interesting...I'll say that much.
