Ben Carson Links Michael Brown Behavior To "Women's Lib"

It is amazing what used to be called common sense is now considered a joke... I would like to see Ben Carson run for president as well. I doubt he will though. He is way too smart to want that job...

Any thoughts on specific issues/examples of the "women's lib" comment?

I will admit I am not a big fan of his women's lib comment. I sort of see the point he is trying to make but I think it misses the mark but that was not the main point of what he was talking about. I do like that he is one of few (there are some but not enough) that talk about the fact that 3 out of 4 black babies are born out of wedlock. That is a national tragedy IMO. The number of white babies born out of wedlock is way too high as well (not near as high as black babies though).

I just think the complete breakdown of the two parent family in black families in the US is a HUGE problem.

My suggestion would be never ever never vote for someone who , even once , uses a poor choice of words , or sounds foolish at times , we must never settle for anythingless than the Joseph Bidens of the political world .

And yes he did a bad job of trying to relay what his bottom line was , kids need moms and dads .

He should have limited himself to that point.

However, he obviously has strong feelings on "women's lib" or he would not have added it.

I think I would like to hear the entire interview. This sounds choppy and like the author did the old "pick and choose". Saying that, I chose to put my career on hold for my family . I am so glad I am not as stressed out and busy as my Daughter and Daughter in laws are. I feel they have to juggle to many things and put to many things on the back burner. They have helpful husbands, but it is tough being "everything".

Ben Carson: Women's Lib Movement Created 'Me Generation' That Helped Lead To Ferguson | Right Wing Watch

I listened to the video this time and he brought it back around to the family unit again. "Women's lib" was a poor choice of words and a "hot button", but if the family unit in every family were preserved the children would be better served.
