I was trying to make a deal with AR and he said he was trying to include future draft picks. I mentioned he should check with Godot because I didn't think we'd allow that because it was a dangerous precedent to set for various reasons, some I even put in a thread. They made the trade anyway. League Office let it go through and the precedent was set. I was able to take advantage of it. So, I accept zero blame! :wave: :lol2: :idunno:
December 3, 201411 yr You guys are cracking me up. In real sports does a new coach get draft picks back that were traded before? The league just needs standards are the trade process. I think each individual trade involving a pick should go to a league vote. If it helps some sleep better at night I traded Lacy for Stacy. I'll settle the pick trade in the preseason.

No blame or way you should not get the pick. Should a rule follow blocking such trades? That's a completely different topic from your trade IMO.

December 4, 201411 yr I agree with the concept that whomever inherits the team with draft pick deficit should live with it, the same way any other real team would have to deal with. The league is difficult to get into anyway, so who would deny the privilege of being invited? Besides, if the team on the deficit end did their job correctly, there will be quality players for the incoming administration to keep. When you pick a team after the dice roll, all you see is the players on your inherited team anyway, and you're going to make your choice based on those players, not on whether or not you have a 3rd-round pick.

December 5, 201411 yr Ya'll are too funny. If I'm back because I win the toilet bowl then great. If it comes to the point that I'm booted and am able to rejoin due to lack of members then I plan to keep my same team. Not going to change just because of the trade I made. That's a shady move and not who I am. You all may continue.
