Top Jr's in 9th Region

Featured Replies

CCH also in that game that went into 9 innings lost there master and commander behind the plate -- who is also a Jr. this year a exeptional athlete Connor Larkin. He was takin out of the game for a concusion and the back up Frommeyer struggled catching Severson.

Mace pitched the 2 close games Humphrey didnt. And CCH beat them again at CCH and lost by 1 at Ryle

I'll take Bleser

With all this talk Bleser had company last year like i said with Larkin, but watch out for Shane Popham, Matthew Reis and Kyle Houlehan to make a coming out show this year for the Colonels.

I know Conner had a good year last year, great ballplayer, great kid.

How come Popham Reis and Houlehan never made any noise last year.

If I m not mistaking ...they didn't even play varsity last year.

Ryle started five sophmores last year....noisy enough for you?

The reason they didnt is becasue they never had the chance with GREAT seniors in front of them....

Like Eric Quinn at 3rd batting over .400 with 7 homers

Randy Myers in Left batted around.340 with 5 homers

Eric Severson in right pitching and playin first who batted .519 with 9 homers

Rob Quast batted .400 with 2 homerruns (one being a walk off in Regional Finals)

Tanner Browning best 9 hitter maybe in the state

That is why they didn't make noise.....also they won JV Region last year i think that is some good noise

I'll take both Bleser and Humphrey.

Stats are stats. Take them for what they're worth.

Lets move on.

I agree cshs81. Getting tied of hunting and pecking. Good debate though.

BTW..what does CSHS stand for?

Yeah it was good i was running out of things to say. We will just have to see what happens at the Knochelman Tourney. Good Luck!

You to buddy. I know several of your players and their great kids. As far as coaching, you got one of the best. Good luck

Shane Taylor from Conner, good glove at third and hits consistently with the bat. Good Power too

Who was the LH pitcher who beat CCH last year!? Won't he also be a Jr. this year?

Im pretty sure is was Ricky Harkins. And yes, he will be a junior this year

Yes that is it, he should be one of the top Jrs. this year too.

Not gonna be the best jr's, but one that everyone will hear about from Holmes this year is Jon Smith. I believe he hit around .380 last year as a soph.

Also as far as Humphrey and Bleser are concerned, ill take Bleser as the best in nky. Won the regional championship out-battling curley who is probably one of the top 5 pitchers in the state and also contributed at the plate.

9-1 sounds nice, but who were the 9 wins against? Bleser has more impressive wins imo. Both are good, but Bleser is better.

Jared Harris - NCC -- can hit a ton and will be a top LHP

Holy Cross- imo has the best Jr. class in the region

Jimmy Ryan

Scott Baker

Matt Abeling

Jeremy Cross

Joe Sullivan

Matthew Reis and Skylar Stein will be very good outfielders for this year and next year!
