Why does Heckenburg (NO QB) get so low in the crouch? His but is about 2 inches off the ground! How can this be good?

His butt is 2 inches off ground every play! And the center is too big to move after he snaps the ball, it is like only having 10 players on offense, all he does is snap the ball and then tug on his pants to pull them up. If Owensboro does not blow this team out, the winner of LC/HHS wins state game in a blowout.

In the north oldham vs oldham co game on YouTube his butt isn't anywhere near that low. It's the typical height and maybe even a little high at times. As far as the center goes he looks like a big boy. He's a wing t center so he is man on man away 90% of the time. He doesn't have to go far.

 

I think people are missing on how much a pain north oldham's offense is to get ready for. Until you try to prepare for a hybrid team it won't appear like much. With all the different formations it very hard to just line up correctly. For the secondary your keys keep changing. Add the fast motion and it is a pain

The only game I saw was against Fairdale and the QB was that low every time. Their O did not look special, in fact it looks like it takes forever with hand offs and pitches in the back field, and sloppy. A quick D line will be meeting those boys in backfield before then can make their moves. The "big" center as you like to put it does not touch any defender on more plays than not. Fairdale had WR wide open even with poor routes; a team that runs good routes and has a good QB will eat North's D alive. I have not seen Owensboro play, so it will be very interesting to see the game Friday.

I doubt that there is a better defensive player than Portman. He should be playing linebacker but because of undersized players is playing defensive end and tackle.He goes against kids outweighing him by 80 to 100 lbs every week and wears them down. Hopefully they can put him at linebacker next year to take advantage of his speed.

North had a defensive lineman catch their return man from behind on a kickoff. They matched up pretty well speed wise.
